    Olivia Newton-John was bornn in Cambridge (England UK), 26:09:48. Sister of Rona Newton-John. Grandaughter of Nobel prize winning physicist Max Born. Mother of Chloe, born in 1986.

    Spouse: Matt Lattanzi (1985 - 1995) (divorced)

    1992: had surgery for breast cancer

    She attended University High school in Melbourne, Australia.

    Olivia Newton-John has a running career of over 30 years. Olivia, also known as Livvey, has had 5 #1 hits. She's stared in the highest grossing musical ever, Grease. In 1982 the song Physical which had been banned from some radio stations because of it's suggestive lyrics reached #1 at the charts and stayed there an amazing 10 weeks, a record for a woman singer. Her palmares include 4 Grammys, a star on hollywood boulvard and a dozen of more awards. She recently recovered from breast- cancer and released a CD, GAIA.

    Moved to Australia (1953) with her family at the age of five - and grew up in Melbourne.

    In 1971, she moved to the USA where she became a leading singer in both popular and country music. Her success as a television performer led to a career in pop, and, later, in country music as well.

    She made a brief visit to Australia in 1988 to make a television special, "Olivia Newton-John in Australia", and, in 1994, returned to Australia to settle on the north coast of New South Wales.

    (1998) Chosen by People Magazine as one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world. Lives with cameraman Patrick McDermott.
